The National Foundation for Youth Music is the UKs largest music education charity, investing £9.2 million of National Lottery Good Causes money across around 200 projects in England each year.  Youth Music focuses its funding from birth to 25 on those least likely or able to access mainstream music education.  This includes children and young people experiencing a range of challenges, from life-limiting challenges, to behavioural, geographical or situational challenges.  Youth Music is outcomes focused and uses evidence to inform its funding programme and to explore the effects that musical participation can have on young people and society.
