Brighton and Hove Youth Offending ServiceAssociate Member South East
Brighton and Hove Youth Offending Service works with young people aged 10 to 17 who are considered to be at risk of offending and those subject to court orders, with the primary aim of preventing offending.
We are a multi-disciplinary service with partners and staff from police, social care, education, probation, health and the voluntary sector.
Our work involves the undertaking of holistic risk assessment, collaborative multi-agency intervention planning and delivery of tailored interventions aimed at reducing the young person’s risk of further offending, harm to others and risk to self.
In addition, we provide information and support to victims of youth crime, facilitating restorative justice interventions, and engaging the local community in decision making regarding responses to youth crime within the city.
